Calkins or McDonough Cemetery

Calkins Cemetery, aka McDonough Cemetery, holds 103 graves. It was first used in 1808. The cemetery is directly on Route 116 and is not labeled. The fence is a combination of wood and barbed wire. Greens Corners Cemetery

The first burial was in 1810 and the cemetery contains over 350 graves. The cemetery sits beside a “rail trail”. There used to be train track there, which the Central Vermont Railroad used. Sheldon Cemetery: Oldest Section

Sheldon Cemetery, also known as Sheldon Village Cemetery, was first used in 1796. There are over 1200 graves and burials are still allowed there. Grace Episcopal Church Cemetery

First used in 1828, it contains fifty graves. It is located behind the Grace Church. Green burials are available there. Some of the headstones are broken and many are unreadable.

Tracy/McEuen Cemetery

The Tracy or McEuen Cemetery was first used in 1801, although the oldest grave dates back to 1794. The cemetery has 120 graves. Sabin Cemetery

“Located on the Plains Road, Jct near Pattee Road (curve). Many stones broken, unreadable, and appears many are missing. Surnames:Ballard, Blair, Dorman, Davis Dunton, Hathaway, Hobart, Hubbell, Johnson, Lewis, Nichols, Parmelee, Rogers, Sabin, Wright. Lake View Cemetery

The first burial in Lake View Cemetery was in 1799. There are 1286 graves. Although it is across from St. Genevieve Cemetery, it is otherwise surrounded by empty land. Make sure to watch my video. I entered a burial vault! See the rollers!! SO INTERESTING!!
