Howden Hall Bell

“This bell was manufactured in 1866 by the Meneely Company of West Troy, New York. It was installed here at Howden Hall

-The home of the Bristol Congregational Society from 1842-1890

-And the Adventist Society Congregation from 1890 to 1947

It was removed in 2006 when it was determined that the supporting timbers were no longer safe to sustain it.

In 2017, Zachary Hines, an Eagle Scout Candidate, completed this permanent showcase for this exquisite artifact of Bristol.”-From the sign inside the showcase
