I was up in Highgate Falls, Vermont earlier this week filming a church. No worries. That’s tomorrow’s video! What did I spy behind that church? This cemetery!
I walked the Highgate Falls Episcopal Church Cemetery, which is also known as the St. John’s Episcopal Cemetery. I was looking for a specific family, whom I found. (Yesterday’s video on the Baxter family.)
Some of the warriors we’ll meet fought during the Revolutionary War, US or American Civil War and World War II. There are also some interesting markers. I absolutely love those metal ones and this place had a smaller child’s size one. Unfortunately, it was totally unreadable.
Please walk this cemetery with me. I always imagine you’re right there as I talk about what I’m looking at. So, join me won’t you?
“Also known as Saint John’s Episcopal Cemetery.
Located behind St John’s Episcopal Church and very well taken care of..
This cemetery is now completely photographed and added to this site January 2011… and all the stones have been cleaned before Oct 2010. Only new burials are not added after this point.”-https://www.findagrave.com/cemetery/2180767/highgate-falls-episcopal-church-cemetery
