The Mill Museum at the Champlain Mill in Winooski, Vermont has a brand new exhibition! And the topic is how the former Mill transformed into the retail shops, restaurants and other stores of the Champlain Mill.
I attended the opening day on Sunday, March 6, 2022, of this new exhibition. The event was very well-attended, which was great to see! There is a wonderful video, which is also on their website, which I highly recommend. Here is the link:

I found it wonderfully nostalgic. Honestly, it made me smile and feel a bit wistful. It may have this effect on you as well. 🙂
“Come explore the Champlain Mill’s recent past! This exhibition tells the story of the public-private partnership that enabled the preservation and rebirth of a formerly derelict industrial building as a vibrant shopping center. Visitors are encouraged to add their personal memories of the historic space to the community recollections included in the exhibition. The show opening will kick off Winooski’s Centennial Celebration and be on view through July, 2022.
Mill to Mall is made possible by a Vermont Cultural Recovery Grant from the Vermont Humanities Council and the generous support of Physician’s Computer Company. We extend our grateful thanks to the many people and organizations who shared memories, photographs, and more.”-http://www.themillmuseum.org/new-events/2022/3/6/mill-to-mall-historic-space-reimagined
