ROGUES’ GALLERY by Inspector Thomas Byrnes: Book Recommendation

In today’s video, I recommend the book, ROGUES’ GALLERY. The criminals discussed in this book included:

-Safecrackers
-Sneak thieves
-Pickpockets
-etc

There were no violent criminals in the list.

The author had been chief of detectives in New York City in the late 1800’s. He gathered this information and photographs in order to bring these criminals into the light. Educating the public was a bonus.

Yes, the book is over 400 pages and could make a great doorstop. But, of you read it, you’ll likely find it as interesting as I.
