I’m offering a HUGE SHOUT-OUT to Ashley and Dawn of the Georgia Town Clerk’s Office. They helped me in so many ways yesterday! THANK YOU!!
Today’s video is my first foray into Franklin County. I visited the Davis Cemetery in Georgia, Vermont.
The Davis Cemetery, located in Georgia, Vermont, had been a family plot when they owned the land. This small cemetery is accessible via the school parking lot/playground and is just off of Route 7. Heading north, it will be on your right. You cannot see it from the road because it’s behind a house.
Is it worth a visit? Yes. You’ll be treated to a Revolutionary War soldier buried there: Elijah Dee: 1740-1827.
